Default Teins - here we go..

I have farted around enough with what spring I should get.

I'm basically looking to drop an 1" or so, w/o spending an arm/leg in the process.

Wish me luck, I'm gonna pull the trigger on a set of Tein S. Techs here shortly.

lol.

Well I figure the car handles pretty decently for what it is...I won't be doing anything to crazy with it this year.

This should hold me over for the rest of this year and some of next until $$ is free for something nice.

Thats my thought process anyway.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm leaning towards the prokits. Let me know how you like them.

I was looking @ those as well. I guess what swayed my vote was the price, durrr....and a few weeks back I ran into another s2k w/teins on it.

Stance was great, and handling seemed the same or a little better...so I figured wth.

$180 bucks, why not, also gives me a reason to go down and get a good alignment as I've put that off since I bought the car in July.

I just got the S-Tech's myself.

I considered the Espelirs too and was going to buy them but got a hell of a deal on the Tein's locally used. Around 1" drop will be perfect since I DD it and plan on adding the front lip.

I am going to order them today, just doing a final price check on a few places before I do.

I'll also take a before/after pic and then try to follow up once they settle. Hopefully get them in this week and on next.

I have the prokit and i like the drop and the ride. I dont know much about the tein springs on S2000s, but i can vouch for the eibachs being good.

eBay = $180 shipped
Dealer = $225

I just googled the product and they showed up as the cheapest. There are two buyers reviews which are both positive. http://www.google.com/products/revie...&cat=merchants

haha great thread, I have been contemplating buying springs for the past year, and narrowed it down to the Tein S Tech or Eibach Pro Kit. The only issue is that some websites, including the Tein site, say that the S Tech actually lowers it 1.5". Can someone confirm this for me please?

Yeah price was a huge factor for me too, but 230 for the prokits and 180 for the s-techs is a trivial amount for spring setup, plus I've always had good experiences with eibach.

Side note: Few friends with the s-techs said that they have noticed more settling than the specified 1" F/R. I think 1.5 is more accurate after it is all said and done.

I believe it's 1.2 in the Front and .9 in the rear, or so they say..lol.

Tein states they aren't supposed to sag or settle more than 5mm which is < an inch, so who knows?
