98 Accord noise issue
I have a 98 accord ex 5 speed. The other day while I was driving, I suddenly heard a thumping sound when I stepped on the clutch.
I have to say that I know absolutely nothing about cars. I just want to know if someone can help me out to diagnose what is wrong with my baby.
I've been doing a little research and asked around a bit and some say it can be the clutch release bearing but I don't know.
When I drive and step on the clutch I hear the thumping sound but when I step on the brakes it goes away and when I shift gears and step on the clutch the noise becomes more rapid and louder.
Any response and answers would be greatly appreciated.
