How to tell if an AC compressor is good.
I have an AC compressor that is said to be good by "word of mouth" is there a way to tell if its gonna knock?

not really, you can put your finger over the outlet side and spin the clutch and see if its pumping, but thats still not a good indication.
knocking is usually caused by too much pressure on the high side, too much refrigerant or clogged/faulty expansion valve.
