Let's talk pressure plates.
I've driven my fair share of hondas.
But my pressure plate seems to be the stiffest I have ever driven. And I've driven stage 3 exedys...
I bought an OEM spec honda clutch kit about 6 months ago...and it's always been stiff...
Did I do something wrong? haha.

try greasing the clutch cable or even another clutch cable i had that happen too where i had a stock clutch and it was a bitch to engage it i greased the cable and it helped a little then after driving it alot it got better.
whoa.. OEM clutch being stiff? i have a honda OEM clutch in my wife's car, and a ACT stage 1 clutch in my car, and the ACT is significantly more stiff. The oem one feels like a babies toy compared to the ACT.
My guess is you installed it wrong.. did you install the clutch disc backward? if you look at the clutch disc from the side, the input shaft hole has a longer side and a shorter side, with respect to the face of the clutch. the short side should be on the engine side, and the long side on the trans side. if you did it backward and then bolted the PP to the flywheel with the clutch backward, your PP would be like trying to engage a rock.
