CRX Brake Piping and Type R Brake Booster
Okay I've searched and I can't find an exact answer to my question.
I'm redoing all of my brake lines in my rex, and I'm about to do an ITR brake conversion (ITR brake booster and master cylinder).
Two questions:
I was thinking of installing the 98+ ITR booster and cylinder. But I see that the 97 ITR booster and cylinders are a lot cheaper and easier to obtain. Is there a big difference between the 97 spec and 98 spec ITR booster and cylinders? Better yet, will there be a big difference when the parts are installed on my CRX?
I'm about to buy brand new brake piping so that I can start installing it through out the CRX (from front to rear). Can anyone give me the correct circumference size (in millimeters or whatever) of the brake piping. It doesn't really matter how long the piping needs to be. But I need to know exactly how wide the brake line piping needs to be. I'm also wondering if the original brake line piping in my CRX would work, considering I'm installing an ITR brake booster and master cylinder. Or do I need to get significantly wider piping because of the ITR parts?
Thanks.

i doubt youll need bigger lines. but are you brakes upgraded too because if there stock theres no need for a bigger master cylinder. just measure you stock lines or take them with you to the store.
Okay cool. That's mainly what I needed to know. Thanks man.
Yeah I'm upgrading the breaks too.
Anyone know if there's a significant difference between the 97 ITR spec booster and cylinder and the 98+ spec?
