Icon3 hard to take off

hey guys. i have a problem. it is hard to take off when i am in a complete stop. i would put it in first gear and my car would take FOREVER just to take off. by the time i get to the other side of the stop light, i am going only 20mph. also, when i try to speed up just a tiny little bit, my car over revs. i dont know why this is happening. someone please please pleeeasse help me i tryed to get it figured out at firestone but they want to charge me a $120 fee just to check it out. not even fix it. let me know asap pretty please.

doesnt sound like it.. most likely the clutch.. the symptoms would only make sense from a tranny standpoint if a gear had almost no spline left.. any metal shards in the gearbox fluid? even then it is verry farfetched.. replace clutch you should be fine!
