i kinda want to upgrade my beater, on the cheap.

would a Y8 manifold on a Y7 help anything? or does it just look better?

i have found a few stripped, and complete Y8 manifolds from automatic's....can i use all my Y7 parts on the Y8 manifold, or do i need a complete Y8 intake manifold?

if its not worth anything, im not going to spend the money.

its my beater, i like having good gas mileage, and was only hoping to improve it if possible.

i changed my z6 im to a y8 one, i noticed a lil better throttle response thats it, maybe 1hp lol...
