my integra 98 gsr makes noises when i don't have the recycle air button on.. can anyone tell me how to fix it? the owner told me to keep it on and it won't make the noise before i bought it..he wasn't sure what was the problem.

 

Like..fan noises or engine noises?

where does it humm from?

if you play with the recir button does it quit?
(in DA's the clim ctl buttons get loose on the pc board and have to get resoldered)

I am thinking your flapper is not getting told to shut all the way and is stuttering
OR...
is there junk in the vent blocking it from closing?
