It's black and never been modified.. has about 150k on the dial and the guy says everything runs/works perfect. The only thing he's done to the car was 17" wheels.
Part of me doubts his claims of never being modified, EG Hatches are tortured to be modified/toyed/abused.
Anyways, can someone recommend to me what I need to be looking for when I go look at this car? He's asking $3100 for it. I've owned one Civic in my lifetime and it was a 91 LX Sedan!
I've always wanted a EG Hatch as a daily driver, just something about it's styling I like. What kind of realistic gas mileage should someone see in a stock EG Si? Edmunds has them at 31 mpg on the highway to 32 mpg.
And as a side note, i'm kind of between this 94 Hatch or a 99 Integra LS that's in really nice shape (almost like new) for $4995 (Dealership, could prolly knock a few hundred off).
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum!
Thanks,
Div

Come to find out it's a 1995 Si hatch.. I had two hatches I was looking at.. So we'll see. I think both the Hatch and Integra are worth checking out.

I'd look for a vx hatch if you want mpg. An si has the lowest mpg of all eg hatchbacks due to having the most power. Good luck on the search. If you drive in the snow it's a no brainer to go with the Integra. Edit: you live in Fl so no snow lol.

I'd rather have the puniest engine for better mpg to be honest.. I just really like Honda reliability.. But the Integra does sound like a no brainer for less problems.

After considering this:
1999 Integra LS = 75k miles on the ODO
1995 Civic HB = 180K miles on the ODO
I think it's logical to go with the LS.

i would go with the eg . its cheaper . and its easyer to mod . and its a si . there hard to come by and u see integras all over the place now a days . but either way there both great cars .

Welps, the Integra was sold out from underneath me (1 hour before I went to go pick it up) and the Hatchback was a POS.. needed too much work.
So, I went to go look at a 99 Civic Si (Milano Red) and it was actually really clean, stock except for a short ram intake.. Motor had a knocking/tick sound at idle but it sounded good under load while driving.. Looked like it needed minimal work.. settled on a price of $4500 (which is KBB/Edmunds for a clean 99 Si) and if everything pans out well I should be picking it up tomorrow morning.

Thus, looking for a nice Honda for putting around town in because I drive 60+ miles a day to and from work and it's racking up very quickly on my Z.
Lol, yes it's a totally different car than the 350Z.. Way faster, much stronger, and even more ridiculous amounts of mechanical grip.
