The B16B (1.6) and B18C5 (1.8) are both Type R engines. Both use the same P72 block that the B18C1 uses, just with different crank, rods, pistons and I think maybe oil pump. Type Rs or engines running Type R pistons are high compression and you won't be able to run much boost. It's your build, but most people either go like 12:1 compression and stay NA or go lower compression like 10:1 and go turbo. Turbo will make more power, but it's more expensive and will require aftermarket rods.
Type R heads are greatly overhyped. They only have a mild port job, or so I've heard. Since you have an Si, maybe it would be better to just have your current head ported and you'd have something that would perform the same or better without spending as much on extra parts. If you buy another head, consider a GSR, they flow about the same and have quench pads to resist detonation.
Depending what you're doing, the B16 block may not have the torque. They're cheap and have a better r/s ratio, but a GSR block would make more power due to the larger displacement and still have a good r/s ratio. Regardless, they'll both rev plenty high for what most of us will need.
Good luck with the build, let us know what you decide on or if you need help.

my advice for your build....research.
If your asking a question reguarding buying an over priced ITR head to replace your existing b16 head I'm sure you don't know enough to start tearing into a build.
Do it right the first time and save yourself alot of money and heart-ach.
Personally being that it seems you don't know much about honda engines I would start with
what are my goals HP wise
what is my budget
from what i see you plan on blowing a good bit of money maybe 5-8 grand easy on parts alone and that's not including labor/machine work or tuning
you don't need a header with a turbo
the only thing an itr head has over your b16 is a better set of cams and slightly upgraded valve train. the port job is not worth mentioning IMO
search....turbo builds and see what others have done.
go to local meets/drag strips and talk to people with fast cars (not junk yard set ups that make it down the track a few times and then haul *** back to the junk yard)
personally you may be better off with just paying a local shop to install a K series swap in your car for you.
It's expensive but it's more reliable than alot of do it yourself turbo builds and it's a new engine that will have less mileage and less moving parts to break.
that's my .02
no flaming intended. research. and then research some more
