i have a 89 civic si hatch and i just blew the motor im not sure if it was the original but it was a d15a2...and my brother has a 96 civic cx hatch he just did a swap last night to a ls/vtec...and now hes giving me his d16y5...but before i start to do the swap i want to know would it fit without any problems?? let me knw what you guys think thanks

 

change pass mount, intake manifold,exhaust manifold, distributor. done, just bolt your tranny and clutch pressure plate and clutch to it,

 

do i put it all from the d15??

 

yup use all your old stuff
