Default how to change rear brake rotors?

Is it necessary to remove only the two brass screws on the rear rotors in order to swap out the rotor, or do I need to remove the nut in the center hub as well? Thanks....

yes you have to remove the 2 screws with a impact punch <-- i think thats the name of it. You know i have 2 of them and cant remember the freakin name. I dunno what nut your talking about, the nut is only on the front rotors. And you dont have to remove the nut to replace rotor. Just removed brake caliper and bracket, the 2 screws and the rotor come right off.

Mine always get stuck and I just drilled them out and then remove the rotors. I never put new ones back on, just makes it harder for me.

If you have trouble with those screws. Get 2 hammers. One of them has to be a ballpean hammer. Put the ball on the head of the screw and wack it with the other hammer. This will help it break free.

Only have one hammer.

I doubt that would of worked because my air hammer was having a hard time.

You can apply a dab of anti-seize on the screws when you reinstall to make future changes easier.
