I'm new, and I know nothing about cars, so maybe someone can help me.

I need to replace the windshield on my 2001 Honda Accord coupe, EX. I was calling around getting quotes, and a few quoted me about $145.00. However, a rather large, national company quoted me $228, and said that there was a wiring conduit that ran from my sunroof through my windshield.

Is this true? No one else has mentioned wiring except for this one place, and I don't want to screw up my sunroof... Thanks!!

 

i highly doubt it, but im not sure about that year. i do know that for the 95 ex, the sunroof wiring does come down the front pilar, down underneath the dashboard, but has nothing to do what so ever with the windshield. what u should do is find a repair manual and check it out. i don't have one nor do i know where to find it.
