i have a turbonetics evolution wastegate with a 7 pound spring in it,i took the wastegate off yeasterday while i was welding up a dumptube and noticed that the valve that sits to the top of the manifold where it would release pressure when it hits 7psi isnt closed all the way like it leaves a gap...is this suppose to be like this..i wish i have another to compare...dumb question i kno...any help is very welcome!!!

 

Adjust the plunger, simple as that.
