Any suggestions for VALVE TRAIN SETUPS for B18b1 engine?
Like the title says... ive recently got everything i need for new headgasket change. I noticed i had one of my valves bent and so i fixed the timing and everything else... i figured i was gonna want to get valve train sooner or later and thought it would be a good time to do so, considering i have the head off.
I have a 94 ls teggy b18b1 engine... car is basically stock except for h/i/e and short shifter and am wondering what valve train setups (valves, springs, retainers)you all are running and reccommend for a pretty decent price??
post pics and prices if possible...
thanks in advance

Back when I had a LS I had stock valves and crower springs, retainers and 404's in the head. And honestly I wouldn't go over a 402 with a stock compression bottom end. Look around I got mine new for a really good price.
But make sure if you go that route that you get your car tuned. And you'll end up needing injectors, IM, ect to get the most out of them. It's not a slap the cams in and go affair. Good luck with it.

Type R makes more power than LS w/ 403 and they are using the same injectors as ours
save the $$ for good engine management
