Almost anything is faster than a 96-98 Civic coupe haha, the newer base model corollas will beat any 96-00 Civic Coupe. i have a 99 civuc coupe so i know.

I dont think scions are that fast stock. He's racing a single cam vs. scion, im sure that civic is stock, i would like to see that against a dohc vtec civic or integra, i think it would be a different story. Scions can be fast when done up, I think kenny tran and his crew made 500hp scion.

I would think thats a different story, i have to admit with that supercharger it has some *****, but then again a k20 makes 200hp stock, and a scion needs a superchager to get 200hp. I could say they have the same power, but it different when just talking about it and actually see them race.

yeah, but 200hp in a little 97 civic is a lot different than 200hp in a scion.. power to weight.
dont get me wrong, they're nice cars.. and pretty quick when boosted.. but the majority of the people i see with scions are females, and the people who have them "fixed up" its primarily show and not go.
just my experience.
