I've got a '90 EF hatch with a stock D15. i had a distributor go out on me and i replaced it but now the car doesn't run right after it warms up. it has irratic idle and wont rev past like 3000 rpm. i tried a different TPS and ECU but still does the same thing. any help would be awsome

Is your Check engine light on? it should be.

 

ya it is. its code 4, crank angle sensor. which leads me to think the disrtibutor is defective.

 

i would think the same. some new/refurb dizzys are doa. if its not bad then perhaps one of the wires at the dist. is loose.

 

i checked the wires, everthing seems to be ok. i still have the old dizzy so i may try to make a frankin-dizzy.
