Parking/E-brake Seized up | in 90* weather? cables move fine?!
OKAY so for the past three weeks here in KC my 92 was sitting outside with the parking brake on, It's a 5-spd, I live on a hill (about a 10* incline) so i didn't want the car to just roll away course.
No one was driving her because i was in Oregon for the three weeks, keys in my pocket. First thing i do when i get back is start the car up get the oil moving again & throw down the parking brake and hit the gas. The rpms jumped but i didn't move, pulled the brake back up, got out nothing was in the way no leaks so i decide to try again. Same thing rpms jump a few, no forward moment T.T
i give her more gas and she drags the rear tires a foot.
SO how can i get the brakes to unlock? i checked the cables and the move freely so it isn't them being pinched.
Thank you for the help, sorry for the long story though!
