i was wondering if anyone has put an eg lip on their ef? i have an ef 4dr and i have an eg lip but when i put the lip up to the bumper it sticks out front the front of the bumper because of the curve in the lip....i dont really want to have to cut a section out of the middle of the lip so if you can could you help me out....i have serched around but i cant find anything on the net about it....THANKS!

yeah i had the garden edging on my old accord and it looked good but idt that it would look good on the ef cause it sticks down so far....and im not real sure what the garage door stuff would look like...i havent seen that on an ef

 

just get a si lip or one from a da. the garage door lip looks like ***. ive tried it.

prolly gunna have to cut it then. think u can use a hair dryer and mold it as you screw it on?

 

yeah i was kinda thinking about the hair dryer....i think im still gonna try to figure something out to not have to cut it....

 

get a heat gun try to mold it in and a hair dryer? does that even get hot enough?

 

yeah the EG HATCH lips fit 88-91 four doors.
i have the type r style but it looks out of place..

 

eg hatch/sedan polyurethane "mugen style" lip. Fit with no cutting or heating.

 

^will onlt fit the 90-91 bumper,
its to long for the 88-89 bumper,i had to cut the edges.

 

should have boled it under the bumper,looks weird the way it sticks up in the front.

are you just trying to do some cheap **** or what? there are lips for our cars ... 91 sir :js racing, chargespeed whatever replica.. on my 88. its hard to get eg lips to fit esp. if you dont know what your doing.

they make all the same lips for ek. So why buy not just buy an ek lip?

the reason people put eg lips on ef's is bc there are not many ef lips.

i have a 91. the EG moogen lip fits PERFECT. and i mean PERFECT!.



i drilled/tapped the center to keep the lip from pointing forward. refer to pix.


theres are 2 types of EG moogen lips. hence i got the "bigger" one and the pix of sedan above has the "smaller" one (non-mounted one) the bigger one looks cleaner (no offense) cause the smaller one looks mangled


heres a moogen lip on the 88-89 bumper mounted from the bottom.
