Icon3 changing the head on d15y5 !!!!

i currently have a stock d15y5 on my 98 hx 5spd and was planning to start some work soon ( headers, CAI, Exhaust ).

i was talking to a friend and he mentioned swapping to a b16 head which would give me real vtec.

is swapping the head going to actually give me more hp?

has anyone ever done it before?

What other options are there besides a full swap , or am i just better off with that.

If you couldent tell im am New at this so any feedback would be appreciated.

1. Search
2. Your VTEC fluid is probably low, hence why you don't have VTEC right now

But really, no the head will not give you more HP because it doesn't fit. You can swap a d16z6 or d18y8 head and that'll give you VTEC

It'll give you a little more power, or you can out the money towards a budget turbo build that'll give you much more power
