Just wanted to share a few pics of the car I picked up just under a month ago. I know it needs paint, new wheels, real foglights,and lose the cheesy front lip, but other than that, what are your thoughts on it? Good or bad....

 

Not bad the lip is alright, but i agree those wheels are a bit "different". how much did you buy it for??

I paid $3500, it has the B16a, lsd, Omni Power Coilovers, gsr rear sway, password JDM front and rear strut bars, skunk2 short shifter and shifter ****, Carbon Fiber hood and Hondata s300
I dont think I did bad for the price, even came with those custom rattle can blue(didnt even take the tires off the rim) paint job....

 

How's it running? did the previous owner take any kind of care of it? I'd say it's a decent find, so long as it doesn't poop out next week

 

thats a good price for an SI with all that stuff..but like 40mpg dx00 said if it dosnt crap out in a week or two..good luck with it!

 

the motor has been in for less than 6 weeks, it came from hmotorsonline, it was well taken care of, interior is super clean. I ran it 500 round trip to Salt lake city and it didnt skip a beat.

 

i'd say that is a real good pick-up you got there

Dude nice car for 3500. A paint job, wheels, new lip, and headlights would be dope, but its my personal opinion. If you want a triple decker wing on the back and you like it... good for you... but seriously its dope congrats

Thanks guys, wheels are high on the priority list, the lip is just a cheap ebay lip that was on it when I bought it, has a big crack on the drivers side. I want to replace it with the JDM EG6 lip when I swap the hood, fenders and front bumper over to JDM parts.

 

ah yes, the new car adrenaline rush is awesome huh? It's been almost 5 years but my hatch still gets me goin...lose the lip, sell the rims/tires for a bill or keep as backups, sell the headlights and get some OEM/VIS and about 5 tow hooks and i'd rock that ish. Nice find

EDIT: and lose the DOHC VTEC stickers, but thats just me

 

I am selling off some of the stuff off of the HB to finance the new parts, I am caught between my HB and my 4dr...money goes fast, lol
I was going to replace the headlights when I replace the front end with JDM parts.

 

i like the color but please upgrade them wheels. good find tho

 

Looks to be a solid car. WHen you paint it get rid of those DOHC steal me stickers.

The stickers are coming off today or tomorrow, had to remove some ebay SIR stickers on the front and rear bumpers already
