forgot cam gear bolt....
so i got done with changing my headgasket on my 91 accord auto, and triple checked everything like i normally do. it started right up, it sounded like it needed a valve adjustment but then i llistened closer and it sounded more like a rattling noise, i was trying to hear where it was coming from after 10 sec. i see the cam gear fall off and the car shuts off and i see the timming belt ripped off.
so i ****in forgot the put the cam gear bolt on, and the cam gear fell off. stupidest mistake ive ever done.
good thing is that i didn't hear any crunchy noise when it shut off, and the rattling noise was the cam gear shaking i believe, since it was a constent steady noise.
before i put on a new timing belt, what are my chances that its not damaged ?
also does the f22 camshaft have a tdc mark like the beries camshafts?

I'm afraid to say that your head & valves are mostly likely f*cked. Your chances are minimal depending how long the engine ran while the cam gear was off the engine. I believe once the motor shut off, that my be the end of it. There may still be a chance though. I say install everything back on along with the T-Belt and see how she runs. If no start, bent valves. GL!
