Engine build issue
Hello all,
Building the block on a D16z6. When I put the new bearings on, pistons and allow with the crank, with the main girdle bolt on to spec, it turns with slight effort. No snags or slow spots just even smooth turning when I crank the block..... I put the oil pump and rear seal on, then all of a sudden the thing is a bitch to turn. Any suggestions, because I got the feeling it should turn some even with those items on. Used 1/2 drive and breaker bar yet still it did not turn.... THoughts and suggestions for this and initial engine break in are welcome...
