Default Bride Seat Guru's! Are these real?

Can anybody tell me if these are real, or possibly replica's? The seller has them listed as "Bride Vios III Low Max". I'm thinking about picking them up, just don't want to get ripped off. How much are they worth?

Thanks!

They appear to be real, but that's hardly my main concern.

That test appears to be a Reclining model though. Don't you think the full bucket seat, non-reclining model would hold up much better in a rear end collision?

The guys selling them for a steal, honestly I would like to just flip them if they're worth anything.

Considering that Fiberglass shell seats do not pass FIA regulation at 180lbs or higher, does it really matter?

I weigh in at 160 lbs.

Point taken, just stick it out and get OEM or Recaro's.

I'd still like to know the approximate value of these, they seam relatively popular here on HT.

Well, if you're looking to save money and get a solid seat, look at Cobra Imola's. They're Carbon Kevlar buckets that meet and exceed FIA regulation. Just a thought.

Those are good looking seats, but looks appearance wise, they belong in a Domestic or a drag car, IMO.

My intention with the Bride's was to put them in my car for a few months and flip them in the near future. The car is still a project, not even road worthy yet, so I may very well never get any seat time in them. The seller is only asking 500$ for the pair, I was going to offer him 400$. Sounds like a steal of a price, assuming they're legit.

Eventually, I'm going to get a set of Recaro's. Either DC2 or DC5 OEM style.

Thanks for your help...

What does appearance have to do with safety?

I'd rather have an ugly/gaudy/horrid looking seat that will save me in a crash, than one that looks pretty in my coffin with me.
