Default Annoying check engine issue

When i'm driving at speeds at 10-20kmh, the check engine light blinks for a second and then turns off. My idle goes down nearly turning off the engine and then goes back up. The problem is it does not happen each and everyday. It happens once in a blue moon and it's really intermittent.

Should I diagnose it immediately if it happens again? Is it okay to turn off the engine, do the diagnostic even if the problem is intermittent?

Thanks,

Check the FAQ. There is a sticky for this kind of question there. That is why nobody has gotten back to you.

sorry. I should have included that I've already read that and I know how to diagnose the problem already. The problem is the CEL wont stay on too long to diagnose. ODB2 scanning already done and still nothing.
