ITS NOT REALLY POINTLESS CAUSE HE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT DIFFERENT SPRING RATES HE IS GOING TO BE GETTING....

I WOULD PROBABLY GO WITH A SKUNK2 SPRING SET I WOULDNT DO COILOVERS BUT ITS UP TO YOU

Actually, Skank2 is prolly the worst setup he could go for. They have completely backwards spring rates. Also, this is a pointless thread when there are countless threads already about this exact same topic.

OP, you've been on HT long enough to know to do a little research before you ask questions like this.

Works for me, and you get the idea... all you have to do is type "RSX Suspension" in the "Search this Forum" field and there you go...

The skunk2 springs arnt bad at all, it lowers it perfectly and the ride is still really smooth.

Just because it looks and feels good doesn't mean it performs the way it's supposed to. I bet if you got a set of Tein S-Tech's, or something else with the correct springrates and some research, you would notice a difference in performance.

yeah but you are paying a pretty penny for Tein spring and Skunk2 are affordable....So if he wants to get spring for a low price than thats all i was saying....

Let me translate your post so I can understand it better.

That's better.

Now...my illiterate California friend, perhaps when you aren't busy POPPIN' BOTTLES you'll learn how to be a self-sufficient researcher instead of asking for (bad) advice on the internet. Do you think a guy named "manuelcantarero" really knows what the **** he's talking about?

Furthermore, the reason I get pissy about shitty posts like yours is because you're asking for advice on a topic which has been BEATEN TO DEATH countless times. There is good information to be found if you look for it, not by saying "hay gize i'm retarded and can't read soo tell me what to buy for my tight whip kthxbai". The DC5 has been on the roads for almost 8 years, do you really think you are the first person who wants to lower it?

Cliffs: Don't be a lazy bitch.

And I guess people from Cali don't have any common sense

I'm not really talking **** about you, just had to pick you out for recommending the worst springs possible. Cheer up, ol chap.

Here's an example of a good thread: "Hey guys, after doing research, do you recommend Eibach Sportlines or Tein S-techs for a daily driven autocross setup?"

Here's an example of a bad thread: "y0 i'm from Cali and I want my whip to look slammed, how can i do this? Oh ya I'll pay for it with an IOU"

A lot of what people say here on HT is for entertainment purposes. Don't take things personal (I'm ont saying you did or anything), that's just how people are. Don't act like you've never posted a sarcastic reply to a post, and just in case you haven't yet, you will...

Because, haven't you heard the saying.. "if you give a hungry man a fish, he'll have food for a day. If you teach a hungry man how to fish, he'll have food for his entire lifetime".

You've learned well young grasshopper... now go fishing
