hey I was wondering if anyone knew a reputable transmission company in southern california?

honestly im in the same boat. I dont trust half the guys I know that build trannys. they wither swap out parts or your whole tranny disappears. im lookin for someone around bakersfield

good to know. i just put my tranny back together last night but there a problem with the gear selector. its really tight making it hard to go into gears. its not belt and everything looks normal but something is wrong somewhere

A common mistake that a lot of people make...Did you remember to put fresh crush washers on the detent bolts(the ones with the springs and steel *****) A lot of people forget to use fresh ones or none at all...that will cause some stiff shifting...Or it can be an internal assembly mistake....Hard to say! basically I have a gsr transmission that I need my quaife diff installed and also check the trans for anything that many need to be replaced.
