I got a 92 sedan bone stock. I will be driving down the road and sometimes it just shuts off. More like cuts off. The rpm's drop real low I give it gas and it just bogs. Sometimes when I do it, it kicks back on and goes back to normal. Since I've had the car I've changed the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. It's not throwing any codes either. I'd take it in and say f it nut next week is import allience and I want to save all the cash I have for that. Any suggestions as to what this could be? Please help thanks Honda-tech!

Check the igniter unit in the distributor and the main relay.

 

How do I check the main relay and where is that at?

 

try upping the rpm a lil it should help old motors die out when its hot, most its a gasket issue but upping the rpm a lil should fix it

Note that a bad main relay can be repaired by resoldering.

If you remove the igniter unit from the distributor, some auto parts stores will test it free of charge.
