hi im lookin for this little black relay box under the steering column for my 1991 crx si... this box lights up the cluster and A/C bottun. if anyone have any idea wat this box is called plz let me know!!!!

If you read the forum rules at the top it has a WTB/FS for EF.

 

should be the dimmer switch that whole thing should be the relay

 

I think he's asking where its located not where to buy it. OP, if you are looking to buy, then yes, this is the wrong place.

Otherwise, you are looking for the illumination controller, which is connected to the steering column. The casing tends to crack so it may be loose and stuffed somewhere else. It is also connected to the dimmer switch on your dashboard or cluster hood. It's number 12 in this picture:

You'll see a few red/blk wires hoked up to it.

 

yes im just trying to figure out wat it is called because i found it on my friends crx and i am missing it... i took it off his car and put it on mine and found out y my cluster was not lightning up. so this box is called the illumination controller? can u help me find out the part number?
