ok so i have a 94 rs and i pull the e-brake lever up and it does not hold soo i tighten the cables and it still wont hold i can hear it click at the caliper when i pull up the lever and let it down any ideas why it is not workin and how i can fix it? i really need to fix this asap..its preventing me from sellin it ha any help would be great

 

How are the brake pads?

 

little more then half padding left

rotors are a litte worn but not much

 

I'm not sure what you meant when you said you tighten the cables. did you tighten from the ebrake handle?

maybe the rear sliders are really dry.
i had this same issue, and it worked for me.
also check if your e brake cable is loose when your rear wheels are off.
