Default clutch line

ok, so im almost done with gathering parts for my z6/5 speed swap. and all i need to do is get a clutch line. im just gonna run a straight pipe from the master cylinder to the rubber line, and im gonna bend it from new pipe..

my 2 questions are....

What size fittings do i need for the master cylinder, and rubber line?
And what size pipe do i need for the clutch line?

i assume the clutch line is the same as a brake line. and i'll need a flaring tool.

The factory line is made in 2 pieces, part of it is 3/16 and part of it is 1/4 IIRC, the coupler between the 2 pieces is also a reducer, just kind of giving you a heads up on that.

whats my best way of making a line then?

i can get tubing really cheap. i've never done this before, but i've seen it done many times.

how would i go straight from the master cylinder to the flex line, in 1 piece of pipe?
