So this is how it goes. I've alwaysss loved ek hatchbacks. Decided to get one for myself and started from the ground up. I heard about the EK SQUAD a while back and noticed that all the cars in there were as dope as they got so i started building mine from what i saw. Now i want in im hoping that this elite group of EK drivers will let me join. Heres where i stand with my 99 EK HATCH.

Your car is pretty clean, I like it. But the car is no where NEAR EK squad standards.. Specially with a fake front lip, wannabe JDM badge, and painted OEM wheels. The pictures are pretty crappy too, if you notice, those EK squad guys have clean pics.

ya as of now its on the TEIN FLEX'S and the TCS rear lower control arms. TCS c-pillar. i know its got a lot of work ahead of her

 

How about a wheel not everyone has seen like 200000000 times. That is what gets you noticed by clubs and mags. Attention to details, clean, well built, creative and something that represents you.

Do some searching for different wheels. I can PM you some nice ones that not everybody and their brother has.

Dont build your car to join a e-Group. (lol haha)
Pay attention to detail. (Seriously)
Buy stuff you like (even if everyone has it)
Take your time (everyone knows when a car has been rushed)
Take care of your car (no one likes stolen car threads)

Get a different lip. I really dont like fat 5's, especially painted ones. Other than that your car looks clean. Not EK squad material though.

But who am I? I dont even have a hatch.

 

Door panel inserts are pretty legit though.

car has alot of potential. but heres some advice from a guys thats been in the game a long time, some might say to long. but anyway. build your car for you, and give those people with negative comments the finger. theres always going to be haters with even the best builds. so build the car with in your own means, dont go into debt over a dumb car. but most important, its just a car have fun with with it.

as for some wheels ive have always loved how work rzsr's look on eks. i would trade my volks for a set anyday.
