JDM Integra LS motor: is there really such thing?
Heyo
I'm looking into buying a swapped EG hatch with what the guy claims to be a JDM B18. He says it's out of a JDM Integra LS. I was just wondering, is there such thing as a JDM Ingegra LS or if the LS was a USDM only trim? Also, would there be any benefit to using a "JDM LS" motor vs the USDM equivalent? Or would it just be for "mad JDM points yo"?
Sorry if this seems like a silly question. I've never owned an Integra, nor have I ever tried swapping a B18 into any of my Honda's so the B18 is out of my personal knowledge base.
Plus, the guy has such incomprehensible grammar, so I'm not sure if he even knows what's going on. The whole ad seems to just be a jumble of phrases.
TYIA for the infos

thread title revised. Maybe now someone will reply with something constructive?
from what I know... Japan made a B18b for themselves too! But it only came in the sedan DB7/8 in 93-95.
USDM = B18b1.
JDM = B18b.
I think the JDM one has about 3 more horse then the USDM?! Im not sure tho.

The US b18b1 has a compression ratio of 9.2:1 with 142hp and the b18b has a compression ratio of 9.4:1 which contributes to the 145hp in the JDM engine. This is if you want to be really specific!
