Default people with a civic hatch and a canister style muffler

I want to have the canister style muffler on my car.(i currently have a flowmaster 60 series on it without cat.) I dont like the sound it creates. Its not loud or anything just not what i like. after about 2300 rpm it starts making a fawked up noise and then goes away around 3800 rpm and comes back above 4500 rpm. ok, i had a canister style muffler ready to be installed but then i noticed that it wouldnt work due to the suspension being in the way. is it possible to have a cansiter style muffler on a HB and still have it come out at the appropriate area where the groove is on the rear bumper? thanks.

just get a muffler that is short. I got a r1 racing carbon fiber canister exhaust and it's short enough to not be in the way of the suspension.

hey, can you post more pics of that n1 install? i'm about to buy a universal n1 and do some custom piping but i haven't decided on angle yet. thanks a lot.

i have seen quite a few canister style, mostly aerospeed bomb and tanabe racing medallion replica's on hatchbacks that are shorter and come straight out the back in the correct position... as well as some angled, but never really looked close until lately and i am still somewhat shady as to what will fit.

man, that has to scrape the ground alot, unless all the roads have no pot holes and are flat around where you live.

how does that n1 style exhaust sound with a cat?
i have a friend with an n1 exhaust w/out a cat and it sounds HORRIBLE.
it sounds like metal constantly vibrating together. yuck
and its so dam loud. i could hear him from across the district. LOL
i told him to put the silencer back on but he says it lags power when he does that.
oh well.... im lookin for one of those ES Oval mufflers.

i think he has AGX's and ground control. I was thinking of buying the tokico coilover suspension package for 92-95 and just getting the front forks off a 92-95.

The only thing that sux about that is the 92-95 Strut rods are longer even on the Tokkico struts so they bottom out the struts badly. Well they did this on my car

I have an OBX B5 that is about 20" long and I routed the piping under the control arm instead of over it and I haven't scraped once. It'll give a little more clearance than going under the gas tank. It also sounds freakin awsome, no raspiness, but I'm also using a vibrant high-flow resonator.
