More Buttonwillow stuff/possible Mfactory product
Yes I just cant get enough of last month,,, and i didnt get to thank everyone for their help. Each month seems like a complete scramble ( this work thing keeps getting in the way ) Im on the road for the next 2 weeks so i have time to catch up.
First thanks to Brian Kono at Afterhours Automotive, he worked tirelessly to get the Mfactory and Bunnyclub car back on the road. In fact , the cars needed little maintenance at the track so we put kono to work in the RV. He does an incredible Korean barbacue. And His rice cooker started showing up everywhere,,,it kind of became a joke and now it has become part of the team. Andy Hope took several shots of it gettting ready for a pit stop during the enduro!! ( I think the officials were yelling at him for being over the wall during the photo shoot)
I want to also mention the help that Church's Dyno provided. We were there untill 8 pm on Thursday before the race troubleshooting what turned out to be a bad fuel pump on the Bunnyclub car. These guys have saved me tons of headache and money by diagnosing problems BEFORE i blow something up. Ken went on to have great weekend and his best HC finish so far!!!
And Thank you Kiwi for hustling up some parts we needed last minuite also!
I know its well after the fact, but I really appreciate all the help.

Now really confused! I thought I understood the term "ricer". Renan, please help me understand what a rice cooker has to do with a pitt stop. Sure its during the enduro, but still.....
Oh Renan, invest in a few extra minutes to use spell check. Fawk! My spelling is a mess, but you have taken x-Viper drivers to new levels.
Afterhours really got my car figured out and de-bugged! Renan worked with Church's dyno for hours when without the "bro" deal, they would have said, "come back another day." Kiwi, got us some last minute parts. Great support and a few bucks resulting in another finish ahead of the national champion!

OK, I vote that Mfactory go into production on the rice cookers.
They will come with a Afterhours automotive shirt,,, Afterhours has a classic shirt that says "RACE NOT RICE" and has a rice cooker on the back
And K-money,,, the last time you corrected my spelling I took an exacto knife and created the Bunnyclub car. That didnt seem to phase you though. In true Mumford spirit you are just sporting it now,,, frikin awesome

R.I.P. Mumford! I have his two legendary stickers on the car too with his coined phrase, "nothing but tailights"
Don't worry buddy, you car is up for the "best in show" award since your car is by far the best looking Honda Challenge car.

You answered your question.. Endurance rice cooking.. You must nourish the drivers, and even during regular races you have to practice practice practice. It's an art to have the rice be cooked and the cooking light go off when the car comes in.
Behind the scenes there is someone grilling some mean A** teriyaki!
It all gets pushed through the window net.

Dirty you are absoloutly correct, a nourished driver is a safe driver and thats what we are all about yo,,good clean fun and a rice cooker in every pit. Rice belongs in the cooker

Honda Challenge is like motorcross in the 80's... the more pink, the faster you better be!
I did see some rainbow stickers on Renan's car. After all there were a few photos of him sporting some speedo's on the beach in the south of France where he is now. Oh, sorry to be slow, now I know why his car is yellow.... banana boat racer.... That explains Benny's special yellow too.
Ghaynon, seriously.... its ok... just come out already.

I also wanted to say thank you to the folks at AEM ( or ken should say thank you ) for all the help at the dyno. We needed a fuel pressure regulator that was not the most common one. Of course when im out of options and about to quit I call Tom Pauley. He Stephan Popakapenurass and "Special Ed " got me going again and delivered a part right to the shop.
Ken if you wrote a book it would be "It takes a village" ( to get me to the track )

Pick anyone, they are all flamboyant.Personally I like Sweet Kenny G.
I am very surprised Shawn would even let a car with a pink header on his dyno.I am going to have to talk with him..

What about the rice cooker man...
Give me the parts I'll put it together myself! Just make sure to include the decal and t-shirt.
