No Fuel after Swap
Hello and thanks for reading.
I am new to Hondas, and I have a bit of a weird issue. First off I have a 99 Accord, 2.3l Auto. The trans burned out, so I purchased a used trans from a salvage yard. The car ran (didnt drive well), at this time. I pulled the trans and motor together, swapped the used trans over, did a timing belt and water pump while I had it out.
After the install, I was having no luck starting the car. I pulled the spark plugs (which were new), and they were bone dry and did not smell of gas. With the plugs out, I turned the motor over in a few sets, and didnt see any mist shooting from the spark plug holes or smell any gas.
I pulled the fuel rail, and there was a bit of gas pressure release. When I pulled the motor and trans, I pulled the fuel rail off the motor, because I couldnt get high pressure fitting loose from the fire wall. This, of course, emptied the line. So I know it is getting a bit of pressure, and it did run before the swap, so I am ruling out the fuel pump as a main issue.
My questions:
1) where are the locations of the engine harness grounds? I really believe I might have missed one, and that is the issue. I only have seen one integrated into the harness and it is located on the drivers side intake manifold.
2) What does the ecu need to send signal to the injectors? Is it possible, I have missed plugging in a sensor that is needed to make the injectors open. I havent put coolant into the system yet...is it possible the wts is telling the ecu not to send a signal to the injectors?
3) I have read the PGM FI relays can get bad solder joints, and will cause a break in the signal to the injectors. (I did here a faint zzzt, zzzt poor electrical contact type sound, coming from the left hand side of the dash). I havent looked in the car yet, but can this year of relay be disassembled to that point where I can see the board? The picts I have seen looked like it wasnt meant to be taken apart.
4) any ideas on testing the PGM?
5) I have heard there is a fuel interrupt module, that cuts fuel to the car when it has been in an accident, and can go bad, causing running/starting issues. Where is the module located? Can I bypass it? And where are the sensors located that it receives signal from.
Sorry for the long post
thanks in advance

Which Ground? I am only seeing one intergrated into the harness. There are some other grounds, but the only one actually attached to the harness, that is the one that attaches to the drivers side of the intake manifold. Is there another one on the harness I am missing?
Any ideas on finding a free factory service manual? I have looked online, and havent been able to find a free one.

I'm having this sam problem with my 93 del sol but i'm not getting any fire either so **** maybe somebody can help me and help him at the same time oh and my fuel pump isn't even kicking on but i can straight wire it and it will kick on
Yours sounds like a PGM relay issue. It controls the fuel pump and the injectors when the key is switched
A good site I found. I havent had time to look and see if it is my problem though

Good luck

Just to let, those who care, know. It was my cam-crankshaft-counterbalancer timing that was off. I have know idea, why I was not smelling or seeing any fuel. but there it is, and now it runs.
