If your car was dpfi, then the previous owner needed to do a dpfi-mpfi swap, which explains why you think there are significant differences. If the car was mpfi to start with, then obd0 pr4 is plug and play.. something to keep in mind..

I personally swapped a car running a B18b in a 91 crx si using an obd0 pr4-a02 with no issues.

ya i know he had to do that, but im just worrying about the harness in there now b/c idn what he or whoever did to it b/c it looks hacked so i just want to over the wires and make sure there is open circuits anywhere. plus i want to check it b/c my corner lights stay on no matter what i do if the battery is hooked up then there on, so you might agree with me that i need to check things out

another wierd thing is, try to understand this b/c its very confusing, the guy has a big RED wire from the battery going to a ground so the RED wire is actually the ground and has a BLACK wire going to the fuse box under the hood. so i didnt know that at the time so i pluged the RED to possitive and BLACK to negative and my dash lights come on and i get the whippers to work, but wen i relized i had the wires backwards on the battery i wondered why everything was still working fine, i then put the BLACK wire on pos. and RED on neg. and i herd a beep but at that time i had the cluster unpluged so im getting alittle weirded out about this
