Looking to see if anyone else has a 3 inch downpipe on there accord? Im running a h22 and have modified the stock front crossmember to fit the pipe down and under the oil pan but it ended up only being 2.75 inch's off the ground which seems too low? Just wondering what everyone else has done? Also is there a way to run 3 inch all the way back because going under the gas tank will be very close to the ground also. Otherwise open downpipe and call it a day?

2.75" off of the ground sounds awfully close. I had the side skirts of my Accord around 5" clearance all around and the exhaust was probably 4" at the lowest point. If you do go that low I'd try to build a skid plate or something.

 

i had a 2.5 inch downpipe that was pretty darn low. i banged it up a ton. when i went 3" downpipe and exhaust i just raised the car up a bit for peace of mind. kteller sells a 3" catback exhaust kit for the accord, you have to have it welded together though. i think their site is down for now while they make a new one.

 

We have installed a 3" full turbo back on a forcefed H22 on a 93 accord. Had tein coils so it had enough clearance.

 

thanks guys, I rasied the car up and I managed to get 3 inchs clearance right now but its starting to look 4x4 so I hope that will be enough. Is there any pictures of the car with the full 3 inch turbo back on the 93? I would like to see how you ran it under the rear control arms etc before I just run a turn down and dump before the gas tank. thanks

i have a 3" open downpipe right now stops before the first 90 bend but i seen a vid on youtube of a car with a 3" all the way back with a muffler. going to do the same soon cause my car is alittle loud right now and i want it quiet.

Looks great! Did that oil pan help out with clearance at all? What pan is that and how much lower than stock is the car? thanks
