clarification on 23T bracket for brake upgrade
Im looking to doing the 11" ROH upgrade. I need to clarify something. as long as i get the caliper bracket from a Honda, any Honda, and as long at it has a 23T stamped on it then I can use it? am i correct?
yes, but common misconception.... the 23t bracket is not needed. You can roll with a 25t or even the 28t no problem. You can just think about the engineering of it... the only thing the bracket does is hold the pads in place.... it had nothing to do with the distance between the pads. just make sure the bracket is for a 11" rotor
It depends on the caliper you're using...... post the tutorial you're using real fast.
I can't recall off the top of my head but when I did the 11" upgrade from the Accord Wagon/V6 with NSX calipers I used the V6 bracket which I *believe* is 23t.

I was on google. It just so happens that everywhere recommends the 23T bracket. I was doing research on other brackets as well and if I am correct about this, the number is like an offset number. I know for a fact that the part of the bracket that bolts to the knuckle will always be the same. If its true that all 23T brackets are the same then I will have an easier time finding one.
It's kinda like an offset, your issue is the mounting points for the caliper however. I can tell you with certainty the v6/wagon has a different setup than a sedan/coupe.
