Any one use the full gasket sets from eBay? Are they any good? Thanks

 

i think so....look at theyyre feedback but i just bought afull gasket set for my hatch 3 weex ago....

 

im thinking about buying some myself and was wondering the same thing

 

depends on the company that you get them from. there is a company called CNS Autoparts. they are pretty decent priced, and the quality of their stuff is alright too. a few people on h-t have used them and said good things about them.

 

I bought a complete set from performancepart on Ebay last week, set to be delivered thursday. I'll let you know quality when I get it

I have used them personally with success. The seal for the rear main and oil pump are flimsy but I put them on anyways and no leaks. Just depends on who you buy them from I guess, you could have bad luck with anybody. Just make sure you read the instructions (if they even come with them) to see if any of them require RTV or not.

 

Thanks a lot for input fellas, I finally ran into some money that's going to allow me to rebuild my B18B for my move to florida and when I went to pepboys for some gaskets the prices were kind of ridiculous. sde780, please do.

 

I have used the ones from CNSautoparts on ebay a few times. They were for cheap d series rebuilds so I didn't care. Fit was pretty damn good for the price but the materials definitely aren't oem quality. They will work fine if your not expecting them to last 100,000 miles.

 

No, hopefully by that time I'll have raised up the money for my build.

 

i got my set yesterday. quality is alright, fitment is good so far. i would buy again. im going to use some rtv with everything just in case
