SOHC and DOHC trannys are not the same, you cant bolt a SOHC tranny to a DOHC block, and vise versa

you lost me... idk what your talking about lol? the tranny only has 2 plugs... and they should be the same between sohc and dohc trannies unless theres a year gap ( cable speedo vs. electronic speed sensor.)

The plugs will. The transmission will not bolt onto the B series Block. Thats what were talking about.

@OP No. Only the Wiring harness will work. And you will have to wire in VTEC.
