my car makes this noise when im driving, it sounds like its coming from the front passenger side wheel. when i press the brakes, the noise stops. my car still brakes fine and still turns and drives fine, but the noise just irritates the hell out of me. anyone had or has this problem or know what it is and how to fix it?

i would say it sounds like a thin stip of metal hitting another piece of metal.
well i think im just going to change the rotors and all since it goes through some hard braking sometimes anyways
does anyone have any suggestions of what kind of brakes to get?

 

it could be the wear indicator on the pad. Its a thin strip of metal. hehe. But i think the noise should still be there when you are braking as well..


When i bought my power slots, they were the same price as the oem replacement ones from Kragen.... around $60 a piece. And i just got Hawk HP Plus pads from tirerack, and they are pretty sweet. I heard they dust a lot tho..
