Default Best stock axles for D-series?

I keep breaking the autozone axles on slicks. I leave on motor and am on the gas before the 60' mark. I dont have the cash right now nor the desire to spend 600+ on a set of axles. Anything I can do as far as a better set of axles? I have an obx lsd and the car is a d15b vtec with 100hp or so worth of gas on it, full weight. Poly-mount inserts and a full race traction bar as well. Any options for me?

what clutch?

what size slicks????

add 1-2 psi so they will slight spin and not dead hook

an example

D16Z6 launching at 6000+ rpm, 75 shot of ZEX. Spraying from launch.

They are an old set of 24.5/8-14 MT's. The clutch is a Comp. Clutch stage 4 with a 8lb XTD Flywheel. How much air should I run? I have alot in them usually between 15.5-17psi. This is my first fwd I have ever had to the track. Most of the other rwd cars I run between 10-12psi.

Keep the Autozones unless you feel like spending more on OEM axles than you would on a set of DSS's.

Too much clutch and too much slick, too light of a flywheel.

20x8x14 MT's @ 12 psi on a 14x7 rim with a 12 lb flywheel. OLD Centerforce Dualfriction clutch. 13.09 @ 103 was my best, 1.81 60 foot, but I was on a 6" rim.

The slicks would spin about 1/2-3/4 turn at launch then hook and go, yuo are shocking the driveline too much, this breaking parts.

Too much slick to spin easily at that power level. Preload, more pressure to spin or higher launch rpm. Or suck it up and get some DSS.
