Default 76' cb125

im about to go look at this 76' cb125 that i found on craigslist. it has 3500 miles on it and it doesnt run. needs a battery and has stale gas in it. its only $200 and im looking for some kind of a project. my plans are to maybe build a cafe' racer out of it. i was wondering if there was a really good site for buying classic bike parts from. i have searched a little and couldnt find much. also i was wondering if anyone has done like a 125 motor from an 80's cb125. i know they run 6 volt and the newer ones are 12 volt. is there any good build threads. thanks in advance.

You should post pictures of the bike you find. Its a damn shame to see people chop up perfectly good CB's just to "cafe" them.

I don't know websites to order parts from, but you can browse around www.dotheton.com and see if you can find some info. That's a big cafe forum. Also advrider.com has an old school section.

well the problem now is that the bike has no title. the tags place told me that no matter what i need to have an original title to get a new title. and the guy who has the bike is not the original owner nor was it ever put in his name. im tryin to find a frame with a title for it but i cant find anything. motorcycleframes.com only have as low as cb400 and no cb125. on ebay i found a 75 frame with title but it will not work with the 76'. uuuugggghhhh i dont know what to do. if anyone knows where i could get a frame i would appreciate it.
