mill/machine head? block?
Why do u only mill/resurface your head when u blow headgasket and not block? Reason I'm asking is my motor over heated due to blown head gasket and head warped pretty bad, so I'm getting new head but do I need to resurface block?
I don't know off the top of my head but it can't be more then like a couple thousandths. If you can't find it by searching and don't have a service manual, I'd just call honda and ask.
after you get your head and block squared away from whatever machine shop(you might want to leave the decking to them), they will be the ones to recommend what head gasket is best for you. Cometic does custom head gaskets below the standard .030" which might be all you need after they remove material from your head or block in order to raise the compression.

i agree.... most of the time if your head has been warped the block might be as well(so check both especially if the block is aluminum). one of the main reasons a lot of people dont zero deck certain blocks is probably because that particular block is made of iron. iron holds up better. even aluminum engines with iron bores should be checked up on
