Pulling the chip question

I have a chipped OBD1 ecu and just need it to be stock right now. If I just pop the chip out will that return it to stock? Thanks much and sorry if this gets asked alot

To return it to stock you need to cut the Jumper at J1. You don't have to remove the chip.

Cool, after I cut that I just reconect it and it'll be back to the origonal tune?
