how hard is it to do a motor swap in a first generation crx?

depends on the swap. first gen integra engines and zcs pretty much bolt in i think, but i think you need to change out the axles and hubs. hasport makes kits for the b series engines, but there are alot of wiring changes. you would be best starting with a fuel injected si, instead of the carbeurated hfs and dxs
