are ctr and itr vavle springs and retainters the same?
When you buy the skunk tuner series springs and retainers, you can run all 3 of their tuner series cams on those springs right? same as their pro series right? A wide variation in cam size and yet they use the same springs and retainers....
ITR/CTR cams were ALMOST identical initially and then were identical eventually....would it be that hard to logically conclude that the ITR and CTR valvesprings and retainers and heads were identical?

The factory redline of the CTR is 9000 rpms and the ITR is 8300 rpms. I don't think Honda would allow the CTR to rev to 9000 from factory if the valvetrain couldn't handle it. If you catch where i am coming from.
Woot? LAst time i saw the EK9 had exactly the same redline (and rev-limiter) as the DC2.

You know this would be alot easier just to answer the OP question straight forward than to have the 'Great Debate' about it.... Lol...
Yes, both Type Rs share the same valve spring and retainers....
My CTR and others i've driven before have revved to 9000 rpm with the stock ecu on numerous occassions... The most i've seen an ITR reved to with a stock ecu is 8700 rpm... But the slightly longer rev range is pointless if there isnt much power up there....
