anyone know how to lighten the vht nite shade if you think you sprayed too dark? i think i did mine too dark....ill post pictures soon but my camera is messed up..

 

Maybe take some paint thinner and remove it, and then start over.

you know how much it cost? can i get them at oreillys and or walmart?

 

one of my friend used paint thinner and he said he couldnt get the vht nite shade paint removed....any ideas how to remove the vht nite shade????

 

if the thinner wont take it off you gonna have to wet sand it off 800-1000 grit

 

do i need 800 rit and 1000 grit, then use compound, and polish? will lacqure thinner work too?

i used goof spray its like $7 and then i sprayed it on a rag and wiped right off. also works on overspray. its good stuff. i did the same thing as you.you can get it at fred meyer for sure its in the paint section i amagine all hardware stores have it.

i used 1500 grit wet with a da sander and had both done in about 30 mins to 45 mins and polished both in about 15 looks good as new
