Default My 4 Door VSM Civic / Someone Please Help Me: Gauge Cluster Identification

Whats up guys

i need to pick your guy's brains for a bit.

i am not new to ht by any means. my old name got messed up or something and i couldnt log in so i had to make a new thread. i have been here since probably 03 or so, so i know to search and i have and cant find anything

i have a 2000 4 dr civic and i purchased this cluster off ebay for 43 dollars shipped from hk. the auction said it was from an ek4 and he stated he didnt put the cf bezel in the cluster. becasue when i got it i thought he may have to put a ctr bezel in it. but he said he didnt, but that doesnt mean he did.

anyways enough shiat here it is. someone please help me out identify the car it came from. i am having trouble finding it. thanks in advance

here is my four door to keep it cosmetic relatedish. im going to do a full shoot soon. im eventually gonna auto x it but ill keep my mods to my self cuz it seems if i post what i have becasue im starting out and am clearly not close to being done some people well wanna be cool and try to downgrade it. lol here she is only had her for about a month. got her stock

Bargain coilovers, ASR brace AND a Beaks, and lower control arms? That's hardly a recipe for a "suspension monster". That's more like the makings of a "trend jockey" suspension.

Moton's with Swift springs, custom-fabricated hollow tube anti-sways, and pillowball-mounted control arms. Now that's more like a "suspension monster".

.... or even Koni / Yellow GC and a nice sway bar would be more effective than that "suspension" stuff.

thanks guys. i have been doing hondas for a while i know what i need to do. its just a start. and i dont care what you say about "bargin" suspension

i have had suspenion from cusco jic magic mugen tein to ebay coilovers i have had def my fair share of coilovers. and i love the ff coilovers. i think they ride better than anything i have had.

so i respect your opinions, but i dont respect you "attempting" to downgrade my car becasue its not up to your standards or its not what you would do. and i dont do stuff to my car becasue its "trendy", i do it cuz i like it

but thanks though for trying

lets stay on topic and someone please help me identify this cluster!

I wasn't downplaying anything. You were attempting to present your suspension as something it isn't. My "standards" aside, it's still not a suspension worthy of the title your claiming (as if I even brought my "standards" into the statement).

If you don't believe me, go get those Function & Forms shock dyno'd. Then come back here and state your opinion. I've had F&F's as well, and mine were absolutely horrid. Three of the dampers were completely blown after only 7 months of use. The fourth blew shortly afterward. Not exactly something I would re-consider for track use.

If you want to try and avoid spending ridiculous amounts of money on your suspension, but still handle well in the corners... you may want to try getting some Ground Control extended top hats, Koni Yellows, a respectable sleeve and collar for the Koni's, and some custom rated Swift Springs. You won't believe how nice it'll be, until you take it into a corner and it's nice and flat.
